Daniel's Brewery: Puglian Craftsmanship Excellence
Daniel's Brewery, located in the heart of Manduria at Via Salvatore Gigli 74H, is a microbrewery that has been passionately carrying forward the Puglian brewing tradition since 2016. Founded by Anna Fiorenza and Daniele Romano, this brewery stands out for its ability to skillfully combine respect for the local area with innovation in the world of craft beer.
Daniele, master brewer and the technical soul of the project, personally manages every stage of production using a 12-hectoliter Simatec system, supported by two temperature-controlled fermenters of 24 hectoliters each. This state-of-the-art equipment allows an annual production of about 200 hectoliters, focusing on rigorous controls and superior quality.
The Beers and the Experience at Daniel's Brewery
Daniel's Brewery offers a diverse range of seven labels, reflecting both top and bottom fermentations and inspired by continental styles reinterpreted through the lens of local culture. Among the most appreciated creations are:
- Grika: a light beer made with Alessano white wheat, featuring a fresh and territorial flavor
- Nira: a dark beer enriched with Primitivo grapes grown in Alberobello, symbolizing a perfect harmony between beer and local viticulture
Beyond production, Daniel's Brewery provides a genuine meeting place for enthusiasts and the curious, with spaces dedicated to guided tastings and themed courses organized in collaboration with organizations such as Union Birrai and Slow Food. Here it is possible to deepen the knowledge of the brewing world and discover the unique characteristics of the beers produced on-site.
Anna and Daniele also carefully curate every detail of the premises, promoting collaborations with artists and small local producers to create a welcoming environment rich in cultural stimuli, transforming every visit into a unique, authentic, and engaging experience.
