Forum Iulii Brewery: Passion and Tradition in the Heart of Cividale del Friuli
The Forum Iulii Brewery is located in Cividale del Friuli, at Via Udine 94, and has become a point of reference for lovers of Italian craft beer. Born from the passion of Emanuele and Cristian, who began their brewing adventure in 2008 with homebrewing productions, the company took its definitive form in 2018. However, the project has deeper roots: in 2014 the first brand Grana 40 was born, initially conceived as a beer firm.
The brewery’s headquarters is a jewel of architectural restoration: a historic carpentry workshop from 1965 carefully renovated and adapted into a modern production facility. Today it houses a 10-hectoliter production system, with fermentation, packaging plants, and a dedicated storage area. A particularly appreciated space is the Tap Room, where enthusiasts and visitors can directly taste the craft beers accompanied by typical gastronomic specialties from the Friulian territory, making the experience authentic and engaging.
A Sustainable Beer Rich in Character
Forum Iulii Brewery stands out not only for the quality of its products but also for its production philosophy attentive to environmental sustainability. The entire energy requirement is provided by renewable sources, a concrete example of how innovation and respect for the environment can go hand in hand with brewing tradition.

- Session IPA: an elegant amber-colored beer characterized by a white and creamy foam. The aromatic bouquet is complex, with hints ranging from passion fruit to pine resin.
- Grana 600, a Rye IPA with a deep yellow color and amber hues, surprising with its notes of exotic fruit and aromatic herbs.
The ability to create unique beers with a strong character goes hand in hand with social awareness. During the health crisis, Forum Iulii promoted the solidarity beer #AndràTuttoBene, whose proceeds were destined to support Civil Protection and the Santa Maria della Misericordia Hospital in Udine.
