Arusnati Brewery: the Artisanal Excellence of Valpolicella
Arusnati Brewery was founded in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella in 2018, thanks to the passion of Manuele Mocci and Lidia Dall'Agnola. The name itself, 'Arusnati,' refers to an ancient population that inhabited these lands during Roman and pre-Roman times, emphasizing a strong and authentic connection with the territory. Located at Via Cesare Battisti 186, it is the first authorized microbrewery in Valpolicella, a symbol of innovation and tradition in the world of Italian craft beer.
This brewery stands out for the production of top-fermented beers in the English style, appreciated for their balance, the quality of raw materials, and artisanal care. Among them, the Pale Ale stands out as the company’s flagship: with its characteristic copper color, it offers a balanced and complex body, yet is easy to drink. On the nose, notes of malt with delicate hints of bread and cereals can be perceived, accompanied by fruity and citrus aromas from the hops.
An Authentic Experience with Unique Beers
In addition to the Pale Ale, Arusnati Brewery offers limited edition beers, ideal for those who love to discover particular and seasonal flavors:
- Red Grinch: available only during the Christmas season, made with selected ingredients from New Zealand, giving it an original and intense aromatic profile.
- Tuvok: a dry stout designed to celebrate sporting events such as the Six Nations rugby tournament and St. Patrick’s Day, with a strong and enveloping taste.
The recipes are deliberately simple and genuine, using exclusively malts, hops, and yeasts mainly of British origin, without added spices or cereals, to enhance the elegance and purity of the ingredients.
The brewery’s atmosphere is informal and welcoming, perfect for a thorough tasting on site. Among the services offered:
- Free parking
- Wheelchair accessibility
- Possibility of advance booking
- Payments by credit and debit cards and via NFC
Visitors to Arusnati Brewery often remember the warm, family-like atmosphere, which makes every beer tasting a special moment. The quality of the product and attention to the territory are also reflected in the brewery’s active participation in local festivals and sporting events, helping to keep the community spirit of Valpolicella alive.
