Skapte Handcraft Beer is an artisanal microbrewery born in the heart of Irpinia, in Cairano, a charming village in the province of Avellino, Campania. Founded in 2019 by Francescantonio Colicchio, this brewery is the result of a great passion for craft beer and the desire to express, through every bottle, the authenticity of the Irpinian territory.
The name “Skapte”, which means “created” in Norwegian, encapsulates the essence of the company: a constant commitment to producing unique beers crafted down to the smallest detail. The recipes arise from years of experimentation, with continuous work on quality malts, yeasts, and hops, always seeking new combinations to surprise and satisfy lovers of the brewing world.
Authentic and genuine beers, connected to the territory
Skapte’s beers are strictly artisanal, made without pasteurization, filtration, or added preservatives. This choice ensures a product with true flavor, featuring a natural sediment at the bottom that confirms their genuineness and unique character. The production includes a core line of six beers, accompanied by special and seasonal editions that continuously enrich the offer.

- Cairano: a Belgian-inspired Blanche, fresh and light, with delicate notes of cereal and citrus and acidity from unmalted wheat.
- La Rupe: a golden ale in pure British style, able to highlight floral, fruity, and herbal aromas, ideal for those who appreciate elegant and refined flavors.
- Scorciacapa: an American pale ale characterized by a double dry hopping that releases intense tropical and citrus notes, perfect for a lively tasting experience.
- Ipogea Arenara: a golden Italian Grape Ale, made with must from Fiano grapes; a beer with a strong taste combining freshness, fruity and floral hints, and a pleasant acidity.
