Claterna Brewery, located in Castel San Pietro Terme, in the heart of the province of Bologna, is an artisanal microbrewery that captivates with its history and the quality of its productions. Founded in 2014 as a beer firm, it transformed in 2017 into a full-fledged production facility, thereby consolidating its identity both locally and within the Italian craft beer scene.
Founded by Pierpaolo Mirri and Alice Bucci, the brewery’s name is a tribute to the ancient Roman city of Claterna, located nearby. This connection to local history and culture is deeply reflected in the brewery’s production philosophy: here, beer is not just a product but an authentic expression of the Emilia territory.

An important international recognition came with the 'Babbo NatAle,' a Christmas beer spiced with cinnamon and vanilla, which won third place in the “Speciality beer - Winter ales” category at the Brussels Beer Challenge 2021.
