In the picturesque setting of the upper Val Lumiei, in Sauris di Sopra, lies Zahre Beer, a craft brewery that since 1999 has been telling the culture and traditions of this precious corner of Friuli Venezia Giulia through its beers. Founded by Sandro and Massimo Petris, Zahre Beer was born from the perfect fusion of passion for beer and love for an unspoiled land, enhancing the purity and authenticity of each of its creations.

The name itself, Zahre, is a tribute to the old name of Sauris, a clear reference to the historical and cultural roots of the area. Thanks to a low fermentation process and a maturation of about one month carried out inside dedicated tanks – with a total capacity of 1,160 hectoliters – Zahre Beer’s brews stand out for their superior quality and genuine flavor, appreciated by even the most discerning beer lovers.

A range of beers that celebrates tradition and innovation

Zahre Beer’s offer is varied and constantly evolving, with four main styles that tell different stories, all equally rooted in the territory:

• Chiara Pils: a golden and refined lager, characterized by delicate honeyed notes from the malts. Its balanced and refreshing taste makes it perfect for any occasion.
• Rossa Vienna: amber beer with a balanced profile, featuring toasted and caramelized sugar notes that envelop the palate, providing an intense and rich tasting experience.
• Affumicata: a creamy and well-balanced rauch, with refined smoky sensations, ideal for those seeking more pronounced and distinctive flavors.
• Canapa: a one-of-a-kind beer, produced using the flowers and leaves of the plant “related” to hops, which give it a distinctive aroma that evokes ancient local traditions.
