The Magna Grecia Brewery, located in Cirò Marina, in the province of Crotone, is an enterprise that embodies the passion for craft beer and a strong connection to the Calabrian territory. Founded in 2020 by Domenico Panebianco and Marco Ferrari, this brewery was created with the specific aim of enhancing local tradition and raw materials through unique beers that tell the millenary history of Calabria.

The choice of the name “Magna Grecia” directly recalls ancient Krimisa, today’s Cirò Marina, thus emphasizing a deep bond with the historical and cultural roots of the region. Every beer produced reflects a close relationship with the territory, using selected ingredients that carry the typical flavors and aromas of Calabria.

Craft Beers with an Authentic Character

Among the most appreciated offerings from Magna Grecia Brewery are:

• Omega: a Blanche flavored with organic bergamot grown in the Brancaleone area. With an alcohol content of 5.2%, this beer stands out for its fresh, slightly sour and spicy taste, with bergamot emerging as the absolute protagonist, offering a unique sensory experience in the world of craft beer.
• Theta: a Golden Ale at 4.6% alcohol, characterized by a balanced bitterness and a refreshing thirst-quenching quality. Ideal for those who want a light yet full-of-personality drink, it is a perfect choice to accompany moments of relaxation in any season.
• Lambda: a Session IPA at 3.9%, with citrus notes, a bold hopping, and a slender body that make it lively and pleasant, perfect for those who love beers with an intense character but not too demanding.

In 2023, it took part in a sustainability project funded under the POR Calabria FESR – FSE program, directing its activities towards the use of renewable energy sources for self-consumption and thus reducing its environmental impact.
