Located in Altavilla Milicia, in the province of Palermo, Birra dei Vespri is a Sicilian craft microbrewery founded in 2018 by the passion of Gaetano Bucaro and his wife. Starting from experimenting with homemade beers, they successfully transformed this passion into a productive reality that today stands out for the quality and unique character of its beers, conquering not only the Sicilian market but also the national and European ones.
Each beer produced by Birra dei Vespri is a true story of Sicily, capable of harmoniously and modernly combining tradition and innovation. The range of beers includes five labels, each with a precise identity and very distinct aromatic profiles:
- Clarenza: a golden wheat ale, fresh and light, with citrus notes of lemon and orange, accompanied by hints of cereal and bread crust. The tart finish comes from the use of organic wheat from Giustalisa, an ingredient that gives an authentic and natural touch.
- Lavika: an amber beer in American style, with an intense and pungent personality. It offers citrus and exotic fruit fragrances, enriched by a floral aroma and a pleasant note of ripe fruit.
- Triskele: a golden ale with a light body, based on English Maris Otter malt that delivers biscuity tones, balanced by intense and bitter hopping. It is perfect for those who appreciate a clean and well-defined taste.
- Moramora: a meditation beer with an intense black color, rich in complex aromas such as cocoa, coffee, licorice, coconut, and vanilla. A deep and enveloping sensory experience.
- Sciscirì: an orange Belgian Strong Ale, characterized by an aromatic bouquet rich in esters with hints of ripe fruit, honey, and candied sugar. Despite the high alcohol content, it is surprisingly easy to drink.
