Nabò Brewery: Artisan Excellence in the Heart of Abruzzo
In the picturesque setting of Abruzzo, in Canosa Sannita, in the province of Chieti, Nabò Brewery was born, a young and dynamic reality founded in 2022 by two passionate brewers, Fabrizio Bottari and Edy Natale. The name 'Nabò' is an acronym combining the initials of the two founders with those of their land, a clear sign of a deep bond between the people and the territory that inspires them.
The passion for beer led Fabrizio and Edy on an intense and passionate growth path, which brought them to independently design and build their own craft production facility. To refine their art, they earned the qualification of Craft Brewer at the Academy of Professions in Padua, consolidating the skills necessary to develop high-quality craft beers.
Quality, Tradition, and Innovation in Nabò Production
Nabò Brewery places meticulous attention to quality at the heart of its mission, carefully selecting only the best raw materials. The beers born here are an authentic expression of Abruzzese tradition, reinterpreted with a modern and innovative approach. Every phase of the production process is guided by passion, an element that gives each beer a unique and distinctive character.
The brewery’s offering consists of three main references, capable of satisfying different tastes and palates:
-
Pils: a pale bottom-fermented beer, with a characteristic clear golden yellow color, fine and persistent white foam. Its perfect balance between malt and hops delivers a enveloping, fresh, and thirst-quenching bitter aftertaste.
-
Blanche: a top-fermented wheat white beer, with an opalescent and pale yellow hue. It presents creamy and fine foam, accompanied by delicate hints of cereals, coriander, and orange peel, while its soft body makes it particularly pleasant on the palate.
-
IPA: an amber and slightly cloudy beer, the result of high fermentation and a cold hopping that enhances citrus and floral notes. The fine and persistent foam wraps a rounded body, perfectly balancing aroma and bitterness.
The brewery is located at Via Verso Tollo, 44, in Canosa Sannita, and is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. For those wishing to deepen their knowledge of this small Abruzzese artisan gem, it is possible to book visits and tastings, thus experiencing the enthusiasm and dedication of two young brewers capable of masterfully carrying forward a purely Italian tradition.
