Birrificio della Granda was founded in Lagnasco, in the province of Cuneo, in 2011, thanks to the vision of Ivano Astesana, a former biologist and IT specialist, who transformed his passion for beer into a successful project able to stand out at an international level. This brewery quickly established itself as a point of reference in the world of Italian craft beer, winning numerous awards thanks to the exceptional quality and originality of its products.
Two Souls to Satisfy Every Palate
The production philosophy of Birrificio della Granda is based on a solid artisan spirit, aiming to make quality beer accessible to a wide audience, without ever giving up the authenticity that distinguishes small independent realities, far from industrial production. Among the most famous products stand out the Black Hop Sun, a Black IPA that won the title of World Best Black IPA at the prestigious World Beer Awards, and the Missis IPA, an intensely hopped amber beer that earned the gold medal as the best Italian IPA.
