Mukkeller Family Brewery: Craftsmanship Excellence from the Marche
Located in Porto Sant’Elpidio, in the beautiful Marche region, Mukkeller Family Brewery is a craft reality that since 2010 embodies passion, dedication, and innovation in the world of Italian craft beer. Founded by brothers Marco and Fabio Raffaeli, Mukkeller stands out for its ability to combine European brewing tradition with a contemporary and original approach.
Marco, nicknamed “Mukka,” began his journey as a homebrewer, experimenting with recipes in his garage with a curious and creative spirit. In 2010, with the purchase of a 250-liter brewing system, he gave life to the brewery bearing his name, merging his nickname with a reference to Keller beers, a symbol of quality and authenticity. Two years later, Fabio joined Marco, dedicating himself to the commercial and managerial aspects of the small family business, fostering its steady growth.
Passion for Craft Beer and Quality Brews
Today, Mukkeller produces about 2,500 hectoliters of beer per year, a significant achievement that has never compromised the care and attention to every detail of the production chain. The brewery focuses on research and innovation, while respecting the traditional techniques that have made European beer famous.
Among the most appreciated beers are:
- Haus Bier: a Helles with a delicate and refreshing taste, at 5% alcohol by volume, which won the gold medal as the best pale lager.
- Corva Nera: a Robust Porter with an intense and full-bodied character, capable of highlighting the deepest notes of roasted malt.
- Mukkamannara: a Belgian Strong Dark Ale, rich in complex aromas and structured, ideal for those seeking an intriguing and enveloping beer.
These products testify to the perfect balance between authentic flavors and refinement, qualities that earned Mukkeller the prestigious title of 'Brewery of the Year' in 2019, an award given at the 'Birra dell’Anno' competition based on the gold medals won by its beers.
