Birrificio Emiliano: Tradition and Innovation at the Gates of Bologna
Located in Anzola dell'Emilia, just steps from Bologna, Birrificio Emiliano has been a true point of reference in the Italian craft beer scene since 2010. Founded by Emiliano Govoni, a passionate homebrewer since 2003, the brewery has skillfully combined brewing tradition with an innovative approach, creating a production that ranges across the best international styles.
The range of beers offered by Birrificio Emiliano is indeed inspired by Belgian, German, British, and American models, creating a rich and varied catalog capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates. Among the most well-known and loved productions stand out the Forum Gallorum, a pale beer with a fresh and delicate character in Kölsch style, and the Pomposa, a red beer that recalls the complexity and body typical of Belgian Specialty Ales.
Quality, Passion, and a Welcoming Environment
Since 2019, the brewery has been managed by Giorgio Setti, with Francesco Gaballo dedicated to the brewhouse operations. The production system, of 10 hectoliters per batch, allows an annual output of about 450 hectoliters, with particular attention to the rigorous selection of raw materials. The care in choosing ingredients, always focused on quality and certified origin, is one of the pillars that characterize Birrificio Emiliano.
In addition to the classic productions, the catalog includes beers such as APA, IPA, Porter, Stout, and spiced offerings, designed to explore new and stimulating flavors.
The experience at Birrificio Emiliano is not limited to tasting alone: the venue is indeed a meeting point for craft beer enthusiasts, who can enjoy the creations in a warm and informal environment.
Among the events organized are:
- Darts tournaments
- Cultural events
- Art exhibitions featuring works by young emerging artists
These moments make every visit a special occasion, capable of combining the pleasure of good drinking with the discovery of new artistic and social stimuli.
The passion of the team and the dedication to promoting the territory can be felt in every sip, telling a story that goes beyond beer and involves the entire local community as well as enthusiasts who decide to discover this gem of Emilia.
