Beba Craft Brewery: Tradition and Quality in the Heart of Piedmont
Located in Villar Perosa, in the province of Turin, Beba Craft Brewery is one of the most significant names in the Italian craft beer scene. Active since 1996, it anticipated the exponential growth of microbreweries in our country, standing out for its artisanal care and deep connection to the territory.
The choice to settle in a former industrial facility is no coincidence: it reflects the desire to enhance tradition, work, and local identity, elements that permeate every stage of production. Respecting its historical roots, Beba strictly follows the German 'Purity Law' of 1516, using exclusively four ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, and yeast. The beers are produced without any chemical treatments: unfiltered, unpasteurized, and completely free of additives, preservatives, or antioxidants.
Beba Beers: a rich and authentic range
Beba’s offer is broad and characterized by a practical philosophy that respects the raw materials, highlighting the peculiarities of each beer. Among the most appreciated labels are:
- Numero Uno: a pale lager with a sweet initial taste and balanced bitterness, perfect for those who love freshness without sacrificing character.
- Gilda: an amber beer with Munich malt, round and enveloping in flavor.
- Motor Oil: a dark, intense, and full-bodied bock, ideal for lovers of stronger tastes.
In addition to these, the brewery offers a range of unique beers such as Molto Malto, Toro, Grafite, Talco, Santa Maria, Due Gnomi, Alzo Zero, Fifteen Years, Ipanera, Re Magi, and Birra di Natale. Each beer tells a different story, made of local ingredients, artisanal passion, and attention to detail.
Commitment to sustainability and hospitality
Beba Craft Brewery also stands out for its strong environmental commitment. Among the adopted practices are:
- The returnable bottle system for bottle reuse, thus reducing waste.
- The use of photovoltaic and thermal solar systems to power production sustainably.
- The transformation of brewing waste into compost and natural feed, closing a virtuous cycle of the circular economy.
The taproom, called Train Robber’s Syndicate, is a reference point for those who want to taste craft beers on draft in a warm and friendly environment. Here, beers can be paired with typical local dishes and the famous gofri, crispy wafers filled with sweet or savory ingredients, perfect for any occasion. The venue is open Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday, offering a complete experience of taste and conviviality.
Beba beers are also distributed in 50 cl bottles, easily found in venues and shops across Piedmont, always respecting the philosophy of reuse and quality.
Beba Craft Brewery thus represents a perfect combination of the richness of European brewing tradition and the passion for local Italian production, an icon for those seeking authenticity and environmental respect in their glass.
