Obici Brewery: Craft Excellence in the Heart of the Modenese Plain
Obici Brewery was founded in May 2015 in Finale Emilia, at Via Miari 7/B, thanks to the vision of Lorenzo, an agronomist and oenologist, and Davide, head of marketing. This artisanal reality inserts itself with respect and passion into the panorama of Italian microbreweries, enhancing local traditions and the territory of the Modenese plain.
The name “Obici” recalls an ancient local story, rooted in 1489, when Daniele Obizzi built a sumptuous palace that over time became the Monastery of the White Fathers. This connection with the history and culture of the place is reflected in the beers produced, which tell of a territory rich in culture and authentic flavors.
Quality Craft Beers and Historical Roots
Obici Brewery stands out for a varied production of craft beers, designed to satisfy the most refined tastes of enthusiasts. Among the types offered are:
- Blonde Ale: a light, fresh pale beer with cereal notes and a delicate herbal hint from American hops.
- American Amber Ale: characterized by an amber color and full body, it combines strong toasted malt notes with perfect balance from the hops.
- Smoky Ale: sweet and enveloping in taste, it is born from the special use of malt smoked with beech wood, giving it a unique personality and medium body.
- American Pale Ale: an amber beer with floral and citrus aromas, distinguished on the palate by biscuit and caramel notes.
- Session IPA: low in alcohol, it is a fresh, thirst-quenching, and strongly hopped beer with a light, rounded body.
Obici Brewery’s beers are mainly distributed in the Lower Modena area, Upper Ferrara area, and Lower Bologna area, zones where they enjoy great participation and appreciation. The brewery is also active in numerous promotional events, contributing its productions to festivals dedicated to gastronomic culture and the territory.
For those wishing to experience an authentic tasting, the Tap Room attached to the brewery offers an informal and convivial environment where all labels can be savored on-site, immersing oneself in the atmosphere of craft beer connected to the Modenese territory.
Obici Brewery thus represents a reality that combines passion, quality, and respect for local history, becoming a point of reference for those seeking authentic artisanal products in the Italian microbrewery scene.
