San Luca Brewery: Passion and Tradition in the Heart of Imperia
Located at Via Lagoni 22 in Imperia, San Luca Brewery was founded in 2022 from an intense passion shared by three friends: Andrea Bertora, Alessio Giroldo, and Andrea Sambusida. This craft microbrewery draws inspiration from the picturesque little church of San Luca, nestled among the centuries-old olive trees of the Ligurian hinterland, thus becoming a true tribute to the roots and culture of the territory.
Despite its young age, San Luca Brewery has already won over an audience of craft beer lovers, offering a range of products that combine tradition and innovation to create rich and engaging tasting experiences.
A Craftsmanship Excellence that Tells a Story
The core of the production is based on a selection of beers carefully crafted to satisfy different palates:
- L5: a light, bottom-fermented beer, fresh and easy to drink.
- S4: a Golden Ale with a soft and rounded character.
- B6: a Blanche with a delicate and spicy aromatic profile.
- G8: a Strong Belgian Ale with a complex and enveloping structure.
Each batch is meticulously handled by a close-knit team, with Alessio Giroldo and Andrea Bertora working as brewers, supported by Andrea Sambusida in social management. Their collaboration translates into beers that carry the value of dedication and passion for the brewing craft.
The annual production capacity is around 13 hectoliters, with brews of 3 hectoliters each and a cellar able to host up to 6 hectoliters. A contained size, which however does not limit quality nor the meticulous attention given to every stage of the process.
