In the heart of Campochiaro, a charming Molise village with just under 700 inhabitants, Birrificio del Volturno was founded in 2014, born from the passion of a group of friends who love craft beer. This venture is the perfect example of how a hobby can turn into a successful business project, also thanks to the support of a community grant that facilitated the establishment of the brewery at Via Don G. Mucciardi 5.

The brewery stands out for its approach rooted in respect for tradition and the quality of ingredients. Each beer is produced using only natural raw materials, with particular attention to fermentation times, a crucial phase to enhance the organoleptic properties and guarantee an authentic and rich flavor. The brewing room has a capacity of 6 hectoliters per mash cycle, with an annual production of around 200 hectoliters. This modest size allows freedom to experiment with different styles, embracing influences ranging from Belgian, British, and German traditions to those of the United States.
