In the heart of the Iblei Mountains, in Canicattini Bagni in the province of Siracusa, stands Alveria Brewery, a craft microbrewery that since 2015 has distinguished itself by producing top-fermentation beers made according to traditional methods and with carefully selected raw materials. The name 'Alveria' recalls the Sicilian village of the same name, while the logo, a donkey, symbolizes the tenacity and determination of the founders, who chose to follow their own vision without being influenced by market trends.

The identity of Alveria Brewery is born from a deep connection to the territory and a passion for quality, which is reflected not only in the flavors but also in the production process: a small-scale plant allows meticulous control of every phase, preserving the intact organoleptic characteristics of each ingredient.

Alveria’s beers: tradition and innovation in a bottle

Alveria’s range is varied and full of personality, with products capable of telling stories of taste and territory. Among the most loved beers stand out:

  • American Pale Ale: characterized by an intense orange color and a dense, abundant foam, this beer opens with aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, accompanied by a delicate resinous note reminiscent of pine needles. On the palate, it offers fruity and resinous notes, balanced by a light bread aroma from the malt and supported by a lively effervescence that leads to a dry and clean finish.

  • Fra Junipero: a juniper Tripel inspired by the best Belgian interpretations of this style. The first sip reveals tones of yellow-fleshed fruit such as apricot, followed by esters and phenols recalling pear, with hints of banana bread and bread dough. The drink is dry and lively, with a full body and complex retronasal sensations of frangipane, almond paste, and flowers. The finish is memorable for its sharp, pungent, and balsamic bitterness thanks to the juniper berries.
