Amarcord Brewery: Craft Excellence in the Heart of the Marche
Amarcord Brewery, located in Apecchio, in the lush province of Pesaro and Urbino, is one of the most prestigious and innovative players in the Italian craft beer scene. Founded in 1996, Amarcord has skillfully combined tradition and modernity, creating beers that not only tell the story of the Marche region’s culture but also express a strong personality and quality.
In 2009, to better enhance the purity of the local waters and benefit from a unique natural environment, production was moved to the “La Casella” artisan area in Pian di Molino. This relocation allowed the brewery to expand its production capacity, now exceeding 25,000 hectoliters annually, without ever losing focus on craftsmanship and the distinctive character of Amarcord’s beers.
Amarcord Beers: History, Flavor, and Passion
The Amarcord Brewery’s catalog is a true journey into flavor, deeply rooted in Italian culture and imbued with a tribute to the famous Fellinian iconography. The main beers stand out for their identity and quality, with unique characteristics:
- La Gradisca – a blonde beer with floral aroma, delicate flavor, and refreshing aftertaste, perfect for light moments.
- La Mi Dòna – a blonde double malt, full-bodied with a dry and persistent finish, ideal for those seeking a more structured beverage.
- La Volpina – a red double malt, rich in caramel and spice notes, capable of enveloping the palate with a warm and embracing sensation.
- La Tabachéra – an amber double malt, with honey hints and a complex profile reminiscent of hazelnut flavor.
Alongside these classics, Amarcord also offers special editions such as the Riserva Speciale, a beer aged for almost nine months, embodying the brewery’s production excellence. This exclusive interpretation stems from the collaboration with the renowned brewer Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery and is inspired by the art of Tonino Guerra, screenwriter of Federico Fellini’s film “Amarcord.”
Not only production but also experience: Amarcord Brewery opens its doors to enthusiasts, offering guided tours of the facilities and tastings that allow visitors to discover every stage of the production process and appreciate the quality and authentic soul of its creations up close.
Amarcord Brewery is therefore a growing enterprise, always maintaining a strong connection to the territory and aiming for high quality, capable of winning over the palates of Italian and international connoisseurs. Every sip is an invitation to immerse oneself in the charm of the Marche and the tradition of Italian craft beer.
