Porta Bruciata Brewery: Craft Excellence in Rodengo Saiano
The Porta Bruciata Brewery, located in Rodengo Saiano, in the province of Brescia, is one of the most dynamic and appreciated realities in the Italian craft beer scene. Founded in 2014 and operational since 2015, the brewery is named after the historic Porta Bruciata Tower of Brescia, a symbol of resilience and openness, values that perfectly reflect the spirit of this young enterprise.
Porta Bruciata’s production identity is strongly linked to the world of hopped beers, with a particular preference for IPAs in their various expressions. Thanks to this specialization, the brewery has established itself as a national reference point for enthusiasts of this style, offering beers with a bold yet well-balanced character.
The Beers and the Brewery Experience
Among the most beloved productions, two labels stand out that best represent the brewery’s philosophy:
- La Pallata: an American Pale Ale with a lively golden color, characterized by a balanced taste that wins over for its drinkability and freshness.
- Larkin Street: a Double IPA that pays homage to the influences of the American West Coast with its pronounced bitterness, a complex aromatic profile, and an intense character.
Beyond the quality of the beers, the brewery offers visitors a warm and informal experience, personally curated by brewer Marco Sabatti and his wife Chiara Bassoli, who manages the administrative and commercial side. The venue is a welcoming environment, accessible to people in wheelchairs, and features ample free parking, making the visit simple and pleasant for everyone.
Growth and Participation in the Craft Beer World
With an annual production of about 1,000 hectoliters and a brewing capacity of 10 hectoliters, Porta Bruciata Brewery is continuously expanding its presence while maintaining a very high standard of quality and always focusing on the territory and raw materials.
The brewery regularly participates in important industry events, such as the Premio Cerevisia and the Misinto Bierfest, occasions where it confirms its role as an active protagonist in the Italian craft beer context, strengthening ties and sharing passion with an ever-growing and enthusiastic community.
