Birra 100Venti: Craft Passion in the Heart of Borgomanero
Located in Borgomanero, in the province of Novara, Birra 100Venti stands as an authentic example of dedication and creativity in the Italian craft beer scene. Founded in 2014 as a beer firm, the microbrewery began a path of steady growth that led it, in 2020, to establish its own production facility, thus becoming a fully independent brewery.
Birra 100Venti is expertly led by Oliviero Giberti and Alessio Visconti, two homebrewing enthusiasts who successfully transformed their experience into a thriving project. In particular, Oliviero is the creative brewer behind the brewery’s unique and distinctive recipes, characterized by ironic names and an unconventional approach that is also reflected in the labels. This mix of professionalism and originality makes each beer a small masterpiece to discover.
The Beers and Philosophy of Birra 100Venti
Birra 100Venti’s production spans various styles, blending Anglo-Saxon and continental influences with great balance and personality. Among the most appreciated beers are:
- American IPA Apache, bold and aromatic
- Saison Obsession, fresh and spicy
- Kolsch Underdog, elegant and light
Among the standout creations is Roger Bitter, which in 2022 won a bronze medal at the prestigious European Beer Star competition in Munich, an important recognition that highlights artisanal quality and attention to detail.
The production facility, with an annual capacity of about 1,000 hectoliters, includes an 18-hectoliter cellar and a system with a 12-hectoliter capacity, elements that allow strict control over every stage of production. Birra 100Venti’s philosophy is based on a constant commitment to research, ongoing training, and innovation, never forgetting respect for brewing traditions.
The microbrewery also has a Tap Room, a welcoming space where enthusiasts can taste the beers directly, personally discovering the variety and care that characterize each label.
Located at Via Donizetti 50/B, Birra 100Venti has become a reference point in the Piedmont region for those seeking quality, authentic taste, and a touch of originality in the world of Italian craft beer.
