Anbra - The Excellence of the L’Aquila Microbrewery
Anbra, acronym for Anonima Brasseria Aquilana, represents a true milestone in the Italian craft beer scene. Founded in 2011 as the first microbrewery in the L’Aquila area, this project is the result of the passion of brewmaster Luca Marcotullio, who managed to transform an old carpentry workshop in the heart of Fossa — province of L’Aquila — into a modern brewing facility.
Anbra’s philosophy is based on absolute attention to quality and genuineness of the product. The beers are produced without pasteurization or microfiltration, thus preserving the original aromas and flavors intact. This choice allows for an authentic and characterful tasting experience, appreciated by connoisseurs and craft beer enthusiasts alike.
A Journey Through Anbra’s Flavors
Anbra offers a range of beers spanning various types and styles, with a preference for bottom fermentations but without neglecting more complex and experimental varieties. Among its 16 most representative creations are:

Services and Community Engagement
Beyond production, Anbra offers an exclusive service of renting draft systems with 20-liter kegs, perfect for private events and parties, as well as a 20-tap draft system at its own venue, where guests can enjoy a wide selection of beers on tap.
Anbra is also an active cultural player in the territory: the brewery hosts events such as the 'Pint of Science' festival, bringing science to pubs and promoting the meeting of knowledge and conviviality in a welcoming and stimulating environment.
Passion, quality, and social commitment make Anbra an essential point of reference not only for those living in Abruzzo but for the entire Italian craft beer scene, a true example of how tradition and innovation can merge to create something unique.
