Hordeum Beers: Quality, Diversity, and Sustainability

Among the brewery’s most emblematic offerings is the Magica line, a family of beers that celebrates local excellences and Piedmontese rice varieties used as key ingredients. The four variants are distinguished by features that make them true artisanal excellences:

Blonde: inspired by Bavarian lagers, it is fresh and thirst-quenching. The use of Carnaroli Rice gives it a unique lightness with a clean and dry finish.
Gluten Free: a beer designed for those with intolerances, with a high percentage of Carnaroli Rice allowing enjoyment of an artisanal product without compromise on flavor.
I.P.A.: the first 'rice IPA' made with Apollo Rice, characterized by intense citrus aromas and tropical notes, delivering a bold and perfectly balanced taste.
Amber: inspired by the Vienna tradition, it is brewed with Ermes Rice, which gives it a reddish color and an intense, enveloping aromatic bouquet.

Thanks to the adoption of eco-friendly technologies, such as the RCBR purifier for safeguarding groundwater, and participation in UNESCO’s MAB (Man and the Biosphere) project, Hordeum sources at least 70% of ingredients from protected areas, thus earning the prestigious 'MAB Ticino Valley' certification.
