Birra del Grillo: the Craftsmanship Excellence of the Belluno Dolomites
In the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, in Presenaio, a small mountain village in Comelico, L'Artigianale del Grillo was born, a brewery that perfectly embodies the passion for beer and the authentic connection to the territory. Founded in 2007 by Luca De Zolt, son of the famous cross-country skiing champion Maurilio De Zolt, this brewery stands out for its attention to quality and local tradition.
The choice of Presenaio is no coincidence: the village is crossed by the sacred Piave River, whose pure and uncontaminated water, coming directly from alpine springs, constitutes one of the fundamental ingredients for production. Luca De Zolt, a careful and innovative brewmaster, takes advantage of this precious resource to create beers with a classic style and a unique drinkability, thanks to the lightness and purity of the water.
Craft beers that tell the story of the territory
The brewery produces five beers proudly bearing names in the local dialect, a tribute to the bond with the community and the surrounding landscape:
- Parnei: a blonde pils-style beer, fresh and thirst-quenching, meaning “for us,” a true symbol of belonging to Presenaio.
- Weize Nei: a light weizen, with fruity aromas and the characteristic banana aftertaste, perfect for those who enjoy light beers with a rich character.
- Piai: an amber ale-style amber beer, dedicated to the Piave River, winning over with its balance between sweetness and bitterness.
- Comelgo: a special beer made with local wildflower honey, recalling the richness of Comelico, a mountainous land full of traditions.
- Par Nadà: a very spicy strong ale, produced seasonally from September to December and sold during the Christmas period, ideal for those who love the intense and enveloping flavors of the holidays.
Each beer is available in half-liter bottles or in 10 and 20-liter kegs, designed for restaurants, bars, and pizzerias that value artisanal and genuine products.
With an annual production of about 30,000 liters, L'Artigianale del Grillo is consolidating its presence in the Italian beer scene, growing thanks to a sales network that also extends through fairs and dedicated events. The brewery stands out for its ability to combine tradition and innovation, keeping alive the dialogue with its land and roots.
