Founded in 2012 by Cecilia Scisiani and Matteo Pomposini, this brewery was born from a true passion cultivated during their university years spent in Rome. Here, thanks to an in-depth study of beer styles and curiosity about different production techniques, Cecilia and Matteo chose to turn their interest in homebrewing into a concrete and ambitious professional project.

The name MC77 is a tribute to the state road 77 that connects Rome to Serrapetrona, symbolizing the personal and entrepreneurial journey of the couple, as well as the bond between different territories united by the same passion for quality and craftsmanship.

MC77’s distinctive identity is based on beers with a strong yet balanced character, the result of a strict selection of ingredients and meticulous attention to production details. • San Lorenzo: a 5% ABV Blanche, light and refreshing, awarded gold at the European Beer Star 2021 and bronze the previous year.
• Breaking Hops: a 7.2% ABV Double IPA that earned the title of Beer of the Year 2021 in the category 'Dark beers, top fermentation, high alcohol content, Belgian-inspired.'
• Zerbster: a 5.5% ABV Bitterbier that achieved second place in the same prestigious competition.
