The story of Cascina Motta began in 2008, when Massimo Prandi and Marco Malaspina decided to transform the agricultural tradition of their historic company into a project dedicated to the cultivation of barley, hops, and minor cereals, all strictly organic. In 2012, with the acquisition of an artisanal maltery, the processing of barley was refined, a fundamental step to ensure the quality of the beers. In 2017, brewmaster Alessandro Beltrame came on board, giving life to the actual brewery and a production capable of combining tradition and innovation.
