Grignè Brewery: Craft Excellence in the Heart of Abruzzo

In the green hills of Abruzzo, in Corropoli, Teramo province, Grignè Brewery was born—a place where the passion for craft beer is deeply intertwined with the local agricultural tradition. Founded in 2010 by Niki Ferri and his family, this brewery stands out for a unique approach that starts from the land itself. Here, brewers are primarily farmers, involved directly in cultivating cereals, spices, and other ingredients used in their beers.

This agricultural philosophy translates into products with an authentic character: unfiltered and unpasteurized beers that preserve the natural yeasts intact and show a slight haziness, a clear sign of fermentation carried out respecting natural times and the most genuine brewing traditions.

Craft Beers with a Distinctive Character

Grignè Brewery offers a variety of beers that tell stories of family and territory, each with a strong and recognizable identity:

  • Pedro: a 6% IPA, distinguished by its citrus notes of grapefruit and passion fruit, ideal for those who love fresh and intense flavors.
  • Tilly: 8% Belgian Ale, dedicated to the brewmaster’s daughter. It is a robust beer with a delicate but persistent bitterness.
  • Bi.Va.: 6.5% American Pale Ale, characterized by a herbal aftertaste and a slight caramel note.
  • Don Peppe: 5.9% Bitter, with a toasted aroma and balanced taste, dedicated to Niki Ferri’s grandfather.
  • Donna Elena: 5.7% American Golden Ale, inspired by grandmother Elena, enchanting with a fruity bouquet accompanied by light malted notes.
  • Casta: 5.6% Weiss, smooth thanks to the presence of wheat and with pleasant hints of bread crust.

On weekends, Grignè Brewery opens the doors of its pub, a welcoming environment where you can taste these fresh beers paired with typical dishes revisited through an Abruzzo agricultural lens. Among the specialties stand out the hamburger, the ribeye with barbecue sauce, and the “La Cacciannanz” focaccia baked in a wood-fired oven, perfect to enhance the tasting experience.

Those wishing to delve deeper into the brewery’s world can take part in educational tours and tasting sessions, discovering the complete brewing cycle and sampling seasonal beers, created at special times of the year.
