DuLac Craft Brewery: the beer heart of Lake Como
Located in Galbiate, in the heart of the province of Lecco, DuLac Craft Brewery was founded in 2014 by a group of friends united by their passion for beer and love for the Lake Como area. This family-run business today stands as a shining example of how tradition and territory can authentically merge, creating unique craft beers that carry the soul of the local culture.
The brewery takes its name from the local dialect, “laghée,” which is also reflected in all of its beer labels, emphasizing the strong connection to Lecco’s roots. Situated at Via delle Bazzone 2/A, DuLac enjoys a panoramic location between Lake Annone and the Lecco branch of Lake Como, an environment that helps create a product that is a direct expression of this picturesque corner of Lombardy.
Quality, territory, and passion in every beer
The strength of DuLac Brewery lies in the excellent selection of raw materials, with a marked preference for local and organic ingredients. Among these stand out organic linden honey and dried chestnuts from the upper lake area, which give its brews a distinctive and profound character. Among the most celebrated beers is “La Bianchina,” a blanche that won the prestigious Golden Hop award in 2016, and “La Maron,” a chestnut specialty ale that earned third place in the same year’s edition of Birra dell’Anno.
