Gimme More: Innovation and Tradition at the Heart of the Lombard Craft Brewery
Born in 2023 as a beer firm, Gimme More quickly established itself in the Milanese beer scene, transforming in 2024 into a true craft brewery with its own production facility. Founded by a passionate team composed of Michele Colangelo, Micaela Savarese, Stefano Bianchi, and Riccardo Berenato, the project came to life in a former industrial warehouse located in Novegro, a district of Segrate, at Via Rivoltana 31.
The space hosting Gimme More is rich in history: once the site of the famous San Marco shipyard, it has now been transformed into a modern brewing facility with a production capacity of about 700 hectoliters per year. This blend of industrial past and artisanal present makes Gimme More a unique place where brewing becomes an expression of territorial identity and passion for quality.
A Diverse Production Inspired by the Old World
Gimme More’s brewing philosophy is inspired by the traditions of the Old World, reinterpreted with a contemporary and creative perspective. The range of beers offered is broad and varied, designed to satisfy the most demanding and diverse palates, with particular attention to both classic and innovative styles.
Among the most appreciated specialties are:
- Stella Polare: a light, refreshing pale lager, perfect for any occasion.
- Extasi: an IPA with a balanced aroma that captivates with fruity notes and a pronounced bitterness.
- A-Mika: a Blanche with a fresh and spicy character, ideal for those seeking a drink with a complex yet accessible profile.
- Scarlett: an intense and rounded Dubbel, also available in a special blueberry version that adds a surprising fruity note.
Gimme More beers are mainly available in cans, meeting the needs of practicality and sustainability, and can be tasted in several trendy Milanese venues such as Babila Hostel and Bovisa Urban Garden, where they are also served on tap.
The desire to create a meeting place for enthusiasts is clearly expressed in the plan to open a Tap Room directly at the brewery. This space will not only offer the possibility to taste the various productions on site but will also serve as a hub for events dedicated to the world of craft beer.
