Hibu Brewery: Craft Excellence in the Heart of Brianza
Hibu Brewery is a benchmark in the Italian craft beer scene, located at Via Ampere 6 in Burago di Molgora, in the heart of Brianza. Founded in 2007 thanks to the passion and expertise of master brewer Raimondo Cetani, Hibu represents a perfect blend of brewing tradition and innovation. The history of the brewery began in 2003, when Raimondo started his home experimentation, brewing beer in the garage for friends, thus nurturing a passion that quickly turned into a true profession.
The name Hibu is already a clear sign of the brewery’s philosophy: it comes from the combination of the “H” from homebrewer and “IBU,” the unit of measurement for bitterness in beer, symbolizing the care dedicated to balance and quality in the taste of every production.
Quality, Creativity, and Engagement: Hibu’s Identity
The brewery stands out for its obsessive attention to the quality of raw materials and a meticulous production process that enhances every detail. With a production featuring about 20 different labels, Hibu offers a varied range of beers—both permanent and seasonal—designed to satisfy a discerning and diverse clientele. Each beer tells its own story, with original recipes and selected ingredients that highlight the distinctive character of the Brianza territory.
Not only excellent beers: Hibu is also a cultural hub for the local community. Over the years, the brewery has managed to transform into a true meeting place, organizing events that celebrate craft beer culture and engage enthusiasts of all ages. Among the most anticipated events is the “End of Summer Festival,” held concurrently with the Autumn Equinox. This event offers an energetic mix of live concerts, food trucks, guided brewery tours, and original activities such as beer yoga and field races, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
The connection to the territory is further strengthened through significant collaborations, such as the one with FAI Giovani del Vimercatese, thanks to which experiential guided tours are organized, allowing visitors to discover the production process up close and taste high-quality beers. Events like “A tutta birra” are unmissable opportunities to share passion and spread the culture of craft brewing.
The Burago di Molgora site is much more than a simple production facility: it is a living place where every day is dedicated to research, experimentation, and the creation of beers that combine passion, innovation, and tradition. Hibu offers not only top-level products but also an immersive experience for those wanting to approach the world of craft beer, in a welcoming and authentic environment.
