Maso Alto: the art of agribeer brewing in Trentino
Located in Lavis, on the outskirts of Trento, Maso Alto is an agribeer brewery that represents a perfect example of how tradition, nature, and innovation can harmoniously coexist in the artisanal production of beer. Founded in 2014 by Andrea and Leonardo, the brewery stands out for its strong connection to the Trentino territory, which is reflected in every stage of its production process.
At the heart of Maso Alto’s philosophy is the direct cultivation of organic two-row barley and wild hops, grown in their own fields at 800 meters altitude in Val di Cembra. This rigorous and sustainable choice ensures high-quality raw materials, carefully selected with respect for the environment. The result is beers that tell the story of the purity and authenticity of a unique mountain landscape, rich in flavors and traditions.
Beers with authentic flavors and mountain atmospheres
Maso Alto’s beers stand out for their personality and variety, the result of careful research and innovative production techniques with firm roots in the past. Among the most appreciated are:
- Selvatica (India Pale Ale), with a bold and aromatic character
- Intrepida (Golden Ale), with fresh and golden notes
- Ruspante (Pale Ale), balanced and enveloping in taste
In addition to the “classic” beers, the brewery also offers seasonal and experimental productions such as Peace&Love (Hemp Ale) and the special IGAs “Mit Liebe Traminer” and “Mit Liebe Sauvignon,” made with Trentino grape musts that give a personal and innovative touch to every sip.
The Maso Alto experience is completed by a welcoming tap room with 40 seats, ideal for guided tastings and brewery tours, where the passion for beer is palpable in every corner. For those wishing to stay longer, a bed & breakfast with a view of the Adige valley is also available, perfect for immersing oneself in nature and the tranquility of the surrounding environment.
Maso Alto is not just a brewery, but a project born from a deep respect for the land and local agricultural traditions: every beer is the result of artisanal, organic, and natural work, without chemical compromises, designed to be enjoyed with pleasure and awareness, a true tribute to the Trentino territory.
