The Brave: the craft microbrewery that tells the story of Italy through taste

In the heart of Lodi, at Via Genova 2, lies The Brave, a craft brewery founded in 2016 with the ambition to offer top-fermentation beers that combine tradition and innovation. Established by a group of passionate brewers, the project immediately stood out for its attention to quality and research, also resulting from a training path at the CERB, the Center of Excellence for Beer Research at the University of Perugia.

The mission of The Brave is clear: to offer the Lodi and Italian scene unique beers, characterized by a wide variety of styles and intense flavors, able to satisfy even the most demanding palates. From the first months, the brewery managed to win important awards and recognitions, such as the prestigious second place at 'Beer Attraction' in Rimini with Dottor Balanzone, a Strong Dark Belgian Ale with a full body and notes of caramel and ripe red fruit, telling stories of European tradition reinterpreted with Italian passion.

A journey through craft beers and art characters

The range offered by The Brave is as varied as it is fascinating, with labels paying homage to the Commedia dell’Arte, thus renewing the connection between Italian culture and modern brewing. Among the most appreciated offerings are:

  • Arlecchino (American Pale Ale): fresh and balanced, with citrus notes and a delicate bitter finish.
  • Capitan Fracassa (Tripel): a golden, complex beer with fruity and spicy aromas.
  • Colombina (Bavarian Weizen): light and refreshing, perfect for any occasion.
  • Pulcinella (Oatmeal Stout): intense and creamy, with hints of chocolate and coffee.
  • Scaramuccia (Spice Saison): spicy and aromatic, ideal for those seeking something special.
  • Holi NEIPA: a soft New England IPA with a fruity aftertaste.
  • O.M.K. (Kölsch): elegant, light, and perfect for summer.
  • Gianduja (Winter Honey Ale): warm and enveloping, with honey and spices.

A reference point for beer lovers

The Brave is not just a production site: its premises include a factory shop where visitors can taste and purchase directly from the brewmaster. The tasting area is open Monday to Friday, with hours designed to ensure convenience and customer care, and on Saturday afternoon. For those wishing to explore the production process up close, guided tours can be arranged by appointment, offering an authentic and engaging experience.
