Meraki Craft Brewery: Passion and Quality in the Heart of Susegana
Located in Susegana, in the picturesque province of Treviso, Meraki Craft Brewery was born from the dedication of Erika and Alberto, a couple who have enthusiastically cultivated the art of craft beer for over eight years. After a long journey of tastings, home experiments, and specialized courses, in December 2018 they finally brought to life an authentic project that harmoniously combines tradition and innovation.
The name 'Meraki' comes from Greek and perfectly represents the soul infused into every production: doing something with love, creativity, and deep commitment. This philosophy is reflected in the careful selection of ingredients, many of which are grown directly on the farm, to ensure freshness and high quality in every sip.
A Journey Through Merakiâs Beers
Meraki Brewery offers a varied range of craft beers, each with distinctive characteristics and aromas, perfect to accompany every moment of the day:
- Gobbo: a Blonde Ale with a bright pale yellow color, characterized by a light and silky taste with delicate notes of malt and wheat.
- Bufo Bufo: Wheat Beer â American Pale Wheat, straw yellow, with evident cereal scents and a soft smoothness balanced by a citrusy bitterness.
- Hopale Nera: IPA â Black / Cascadian Dark Ale, mahogany in color, intriguing with aromas of roasted barley coffee, cocoa, hazelnut, accompanied by tropical and herbal notes.
- Lucy: Golden Ale with a delicate light amber color, featuring a soft and balanced taste, between biscuity malt and citrus.
- La Volpe Rossa: Pale Ale â Belgian, copper-colored, offering notes of biscuity malt, caramel, and fruit.
- Lady Brown: Chestnut Fruit Beer, amber-colored, with a soft malt taste and pleasant sweet-bitter notes of chestnut.
- Merlo: Grape Ale â Italian, copper-colored, with a complex bouquet of biscuity malt, caramel, and intense aromas of Merlot grapes, for a rich and velvety taste.
- Meraki Molotov: Stout â Imperial / Double, dark and enveloping, rich in intense aromas of coffee, cocoa, and roasted malts.
Meraki has a brewing system with a 2.5-hectoliter capacity and a cellar of 15 hectoliters, with an annual production of about 150 hectoliters. Erika Checuz, brewmaster and soul of the project, passionately oversees every stage of production, from raw material selection to bottling, always ensuring an excellent product.
