Mezzavia Brewery: the excellence of Sardinian craft beer
The Mezzavia Brewery, rooted in the town of Selargius in the province of Cagliari, is a craft reality that since 2014 has been dedicated with passion and expertise to producing beers of the highest quality. Founded by Gianmichele Deiana and Alessandro Melis, both experienced homebrewers, the brewery stands out for an approach that places the care of raw materials and a rigorous, natural production process at its core.
Unlike many industrial productions, Mezzavia chooses to completely exclude microfiltration and pasteurization, offering live beers that are authentic and full of character. The ability to innovate without betraying the artisanal tradition is one of the strengths of this reality, which has managed to conquer both the high-quality restaurant market and the most demanding enthusiasts.
Quality and production at the service of taste
The brewery has an automatic brewhouse with a capacity of 20 hectoliters and a maturation cellar of 160 hectoliters, allowing an annual production of around 1250 hectoliters. Thanks to an isobaric bottling system and an internal laboratory for analysis and self-control, every beer is born under the sign of quality and safety.
The product range consists of ten bottled references, including seasonal and core beers, as well as a beer produced exclusively on keg for the pub market. Mezzavia beers are characterized by:
