Open Hub Baladin: the first shared brewery in Italy
Located in Bernareggio, in the province of Milan, Open Hub Baladin represents a unique and innovative reality in the world of Italian craft beer. Opened in 2024, it stands out as the countryâs first shared brewery, born from the collaboration between Baladin and five other outstanding craft breweries:
- Ritual Lab (Lazio)
- Opperbacco (Abruzzo)
- Fabbrica Birra Perugia (Umbria)
- MC77 (Marche)
- Altavia (Liguria)
This synergy between producers from different Italian regions has given rise to a project aimed at enhancing the national brewing culture through the sharing of spaces, ideas, and skills.
A production model based on collaboration
The philosophy of Open Hub Baladin is based on two key concepts: sharing and collaboration. Thanks to this approach, each partner brewery brings its own expertise and an exclusive recipe, thus creating six unique beers, available exclusively on draft and designed for the Horeca market.
The main features of this model are:
- Innovation and experimentation: the continuous exchange of ideas fosters the creation of beers that tell different and never predictable stories.
- Promotion of the territory: the choice of Bernareggio as the location is not accidental but aims to emphasize the importance of supporting the local economy and creating growth opportunities for micro and small enterprises in the sector.
- Strengthening the network among breweries: collaboration allows sharing resources and knowledge, generating a fertile environment for the development of high-quality products.
- Authentic experience for consumers: the beers of Open Hub Baladin represent a true journey into Italian brewing traditions, offering a unique multisensory experience.
Open Hub Baladin is therefore much more than just a brewery: it is a laboratory of ideas and a community of beer artists working together to create distinctive products, capable of satisfying the most demanding palates and telling the richness of the various Italian regional cultures. A concrete example of how cooperation can become a driving force of excellence and innovation in the national craft beer sector.
