Birrificio Dada: Innovation and Tradition in the Heart of Correggio

Located in Correggio, in the province of Reggio Emilia, Birrificio Dada has become a point of reference for craft beer enthusiasts since 2010. Founded by Enrico 'Babe' Bartoli and Roberto 'Cigolo' Ferrari, the brewery is inspired by the Dada art movement, famous for breaking conventions and searching for authentic and original forms of expression. This philosophy is reflected in every stage of the production process, which favors innovation without ever forgetting the most genuine roots of brewing tradition.

Enrico’s passion for beer started at a very young age, when he experimented with home brewing. Roberto, on the other hand, with a background in economics, immediately nurtured a strong interest in the brewing world, eager to explore new flavor profiles and aromas. Together, they created a project capable of combining technique, creativity, and heart, giving rise to beers that tell a story and evoke emotions.

An Authentic and Uncompromising Craft Experience

The brewery offers a wide range of craft beers, featuring different styles that range from fresh blondes to robust ambers, from full-bodied reds to intense darks. Among their most appreciated creations are:

  • Lop Lop: an American IPA with a bold and enveloping character
  • Gattomao: a Bière de Garde that combines tradition and uniqueness
  • Tzara: a Blanche/Wit inspired by ancient Belgian recipes

Each beer is born from careful research and continuous experimentation, aiming to offer the consumer a genuine product, rich in nuances and complexity.

One of Birrificio Dada’s most distinctive features is production without the use of preservatives, additives, filtration, or pasteurization processes. This method preserves intact flavors and aromas, ensuring a natural beverage faithful to the craft spirit.
