Zemyna Brewery: Craft Excellence from Nuoro

Zemyna Brewery, located in the heart of Nuoro, Sardinia, is a young and dynamic reality born in 2015 from a group of friends with a deep passion for beer and local culture. The name 'Zemyna' is inspired by Lithuanian mythology, where it represents Mother Earth, a symbol of fertility and protection of cultivated fields. This ancestral reference reflects the brewery’s focus on the quality of raw materials and respect for the environment and tradition.

At the helm of the project is master brewer Valentino Corsi, co-founder and technical soul of the brewery, who has dedicated years of study and practice to classic brewing techniques, with particular inspiration drawn from Anglo-Saxon styles. Thanks to this combination of passion, research, and skill, Zemyna Brewery produces about 30,000 liters of craft beer annually, using equipment that includes a 5-hectoliter brewhouse and a 33-hectoliter cellar.

Zemyna’s Beers: Unique Aromas and Flavors

The brewery’s production focuses on four high-quality beers, each with distinctive characteristics that satisfy different palates and explore refined styles:

Saulè: an English Pale Ale characterized by fruity notes and hints of caramel, with a slightly bitter finish and balanced carbonation. It is a fresh and approachable beer, perfect for those who enjoy soft and aromatic flavors.
Kartus: an India Pale Ale with intense and international hopping, capable of releasing exotic aromas such as mango and passion fruit, supported by a balanced bitterness that leaves the palate clean.
Aukso: a Golden Ale distinguished by its fruity and herbal nuances, with citrus notes, white melon, and a aftertaste reminiscent of bread crumb, accompanied by a delicate bitterness.
Menulis: an elegant Oatmeal Stout with a rich and enveloping character, marked by scents of coffee and dark chocolate, conquering enthusiasts of more structured and complex dark beers.

Zemyna Brewery is not only about production but also education: it actively participates in events such as Birrifici Aperti, during which it organizes guided tours, detailed explanations of the production process, and tastings, bringing the public closer to the world of craft beer and promoting local beer culture.
