Trunasse Brewery: Tradition and Innovation in the Heart of Piedmont
The Trunasse Brewery, located in Castelletto Stura at Via Levata 11 Bis, is an artisanal establishment that has expertly interpreted the brewing culture of Piedmont, skillfully blending tradition and innovation in the production of its beers. Founded in 2009 from the passion and commitment of Paolo and Roberto Lerda, the brewery has recently expanded its production facility, increasing capacity and optimizing the entire brewing process to ensure quality and consistency in every production.
The choice to focus on top-fermented beers, unfiltered, unpasteurized, and free of preservatives is a clear sign of Trunasse Breweryâs attention to the authenticity and transparency of flavor. This method allows the original aromas and the authentic character of the beers to remain intact, offering a clean and accessible drinkability for every kind of enthusiast.
A Range of Beers for Every Palate
The breweryâs production stands out for the variety and quality of its beers, divided into:
- Classic beers: available year-round, made with fine blends of malts, hops, yeasts, and aromas. These beers are aromatic, full-bodied, and suitable for any occasion.
- Special beers: produced in limited and seasonal editions, enriched with spices, medicinal herbs, and malted cereals. Their intense and spicy bouquet makes every sip a refined and elegant experience.
A perfect example of this innovative capacity is Rye Hope, a Hazy IPA born from a collaboration with an artisanal bakery in Bra. This beer is distinguished by the use of rye bread, which gives it a soft and enveloping body, enriched by fruity notes of tangerine and tropical fruit.
The beating heart of Trunasse Brewery is the taproom in Centallo, in the San Biagio district, at Regione Pedaggio Sottano 197. Here, anyone can directly taste the artisanal productions, accompanied by selections of cured meats, cheeses, and grilled meats from local producers. The venue, which can host up to 200 people, features cozy indoor rooms, a front outdoor area, and a rear garden, ideal for convivial moments focused on quality and local tradition.
More than just a place to enjoy beer: Trunasse Brewery is also recognized for a network of strategic collaborations, such as the one with Joinfruit, which enables short supply chain distribution, preserving the freshness and integrity of the beers, now available not only at its own premises but also in numerous specialized sales points across northern Italy.
With an annual production of around 33,000 liters, Trunasse Brewery represents a virtuous example of how passion for craft beer can turn into a successful project, capable of combining Piedmontese tradition with the desire to experiment with new styles and ingredients, in continuous dialogue with the territory.
