In the picturesque setting of Malesco, the beating heart of Val Vigezzo, lies the Ossolano Brewery, a microbrewery that has successfully combined the richness of brewing tradition with a strongly innovative approach. Founded in 2012, the brewery went through a period of pause before being revived thanks to the commitment of Massimiliano Cicco, together with master brewer Alberto Re, who breathed new life and creativity into this artisanal venture born to enhance the raw materials of the territory.

The philosophy of Ossolano Brewery is based above all on a careful selection of raw materials and the use of local water, a fundamental element that makes their beers unique. The Craft Beers of Ossolano Brewery

  • La Ludo: a fresh and delicate blonde ale, made from four varieties of barley malts and two types of hops, which enhance its aromatic scents and light drinkability.
  • Ruscà: an American stout with a full body, dark and structured, designed for those who prefer intense and enveloping flavors.
  • Finger Lime: an original beer with the addition of the fruit of the same name, giving freshness and a unique citrus note.
  • Twergy: a doppelbock with an intense red color and spicy licorice nuances, ideal for those seeking a robust and complex beer.
  • Re Cicco: a majestic barley wine, symbolizing production excellence, rich in complex aromas and with a strong character.
  • Gran Briis: a dunkel weiss brewed with scorched wheat, offering particular aromas and flavors, clearly standing out in the craft beer scene.

Alongside the standard production, Ossolano Brewery stands out for collaborations with local entities, creating special editions such as the “Christmas Beer,” an unfiltered and unpasteurized red beer, characterized by a enveloping structure and a strong character, born from a synergy with a local wine shop.
