Fogliarubia: the farm brewery that cultivates a passion for craft beer
In the heart of the province of Verona, in Bovolone, Fogliarubia was founded in 2021, a farm brewery that represents the perfect blend of tradition, territory, and innovation. Behind this project is Denis Bovolenta, a passionate expert in craft beer, who wanted to create a company capable of telling the story of its land through every sip.
What makes Fogliarubia unique lies in its integrated approach to production: here barley and wheat are grown directly on owned land, thus ensuring a natural and authentic supply chain. This connection with the land is symbolized by the brewery’s very name, which recalls the 'yellow leaf' of tobacco once cultivated in these areas, evoking the maturation, care, and quality that distinguish each beer.
A selection of unique and authentic craft beers
The spirit of Fogliarubia is expressed through a complete range of unfiltered and unpasteurized craft beers, designed to satisfy even the most demanding palates. Among the brewery’s offerings are:
- Perseo: a Kellerpils with a perfect balance between a slightly bitter taste and a herbal aroma.
- La Pozza: amber Marzen with a clean, smooth flavor that highlights the malt.
- La Val: Bock with intense copper color, rich in creamy and enveloping malt notes.
- Salto del Lupo: pale amber IPA, characterized by marked hop notes and citrusy and floral aromas.
- San Zuane: dry and refreshing Saison, emphasizing citrusy and peppery notes.
- La Menghera: Blanche with straw yellow color, featuring aromatic hints of citrus and spices.
- El Canton: pale amber Rauchbier, with a pleasant smoky and malt note.
- Le More: dark English Coffee Porter, rich in intense roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes.
- Mellis: pale amber honey beer, offering delicate honey nuances and slight floral hints.
All these creations tell a story of dedication and connection with nature, highlighting the concept of fresh and genuine beer.
